Jennifer Gamboa helped me with the site inspection reservation, her email is [email protected] and phone number 1877-725-8225 ext 1618. I was able to reserve to reserve the venues and times for all my wedding events and did a cake tasting. If you want to have a tasting for the food that will be served at the wedding, you will need to make arrangements a couple of months in advance. Don't know why but that's how they work.

Who did you speak with in reserving the on-site inspection? I can't seem to get a hold of someone to book the nights. Also, when you were there for the on-site, were you able to make decisions on any wedding details?

  • 3 weeks later...

My fiance and I are about to book our wedding at the HR resort for January of 2013. I am SO super pumped. We thought we would take that route of our wedding photographer staying as a guest at the hotel and saying it is our aunt/uncle (this is what the WC at Hard Rock told us to do). Do any of you know if the wedding photographer has to stay for one night at the hotel to be considered a guest, or can they get a "guest day pass" and be considered a guest?

So we are officially booked for October 12, 2012!woot.gif

I'm  concerned about not being able to communicate with my on site wedding planner 3 months before! Am I able to book where I would like my reception/cocktail hour before I speak with a wedding planner? I'm just concerned on availibity especially since I won't speak to a planner until 3 months before my wedding!

Can anyone help with this?

I'm also planning an on site inspection how long before my wedding is it recommended for me to go?

Thanks gals! =)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
