DRC VS Azul sensatori

I'm stuck between Azul sensatori and DRC Does anyone know if there is a difference in price? I keep trying to find prices for Dec 2011 but nothing is out yet (prices on flight and hotel) If anyone was in the same boat i'd  love your feed back. Also, do you think it's impossible to get a nice resort and under $1600 flight and hotel for my guests? I don't want them to have to pay anymore than that, but still want my dream wedding. If anyone has any info that would be great=)

Hi there! I don't have any info on prices.  We went to our travel agent and she was able to look up average prices for the past few years to give us a rough estimate of what it would cost.  Maybe try going to see one just to get some prices.  I see that your from vancouver so I don't think its impossible to get a nice resort and under $1600 for flights and hotels, but it depends when in December you are thinking cause prices rise drastically before christmas.  Hope that helps!

Welcome!

It will really depend on the day of your wedding. From my experience, prices will go up quite a bit after December 15th.  You should plan to have your wedding in the beginning of December and $1600 all inclusive would not be a problem at all, especially in a couple of months when resorts will start offering better packages.

Hey Irish Donna - congrats on the wedding and booking!!!  What did you end up choosing and why?

Also JayKay - Would you mind letting your fellow Canucks (I'm from Montreal originally now linfing in San Francisco) know why you picked GBP over Azul Sensatori?

Thanks

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
