We haven't booked yet, but did check availability. Our TA is in the process of checking out the best price through the different vacation carriers. You will love it there!!! I love Mexico in general... would go anywhere. My FI and I love travelling to Mexico... we try to go somewhere different everytime. So far we've been to Cancun, Riveria, Puerto Vallarta and Mazatlan. Love them all!!! If you have time for excursions I highly recommend going to Xel-Ha... truly my favorite excursion in Mexico to-date!!! Everything about it is amazing and we did the all-day trip because half a day just isn't long enough to explore everything!!! TripAdvisor is amazing, but I do take some of the comments with a grain of salt. I guess it would be depend on how picky you are. We have only stayed at 3- 3 1/2 star and they were everything and more to our expectation, but some people really slam them on there. I just watch for the "majority" of comments... if all bad then yeah, but if there are a mix, I would say go with the good. ;) That was a lot of info... lol :) Hope it was helpful. Good luck with all the planning... it really is fun for the most part :)

Hola fellow Year and Month bride..  I totally dont' think that it is too soon because it's typical for the 6 month turn-a-round needed.  However; I'm going to start in April a I want to shed a few pounds.. so that's what I'm working on

Congratulations!!

Great, thanks for the info. I didn't want the sales women to think I was over excited starting super early! lol

I would like to lose my "winter weight" so I will probably wait a month or 2 as well!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
