I was thinking of ordering a veil off ebay since its way cheaper, but I need a bit of help. This is a pic of how Im going to do my hair, and how I want my veil to be... Click the image to open in full size. my question is, do I have to buy a certain kind of veil to have it tucked under like that? Or can you do that with any veil? I know most veils sit more on top so I just dont want it to look to wide (if that makes sense)

that's how I want my hair too!!! nice!!! (well providing it grows long enough! I'm down to the shoulders so far!!)

I don't have a veil answer for you though. My veil isn't like that....I got an elbow-length veil on eBay with a comb on it; I can wear it like the girl in the pic is.

I can't see the picture but it sounds like you need one with a comb attached to it. The comb will tuck into or under your hair securely.

I think the ones that are attached to a comb would work, shoot I bet you can buy the material and comb at a craft store and make it yourself for MUCH cheaper then buying one at a store..

This is the kind I want too. I'm looking around for cheap options, because such a simple veil like this shouldn't have to be expensive.

I bought three veils on ebay and they were all inexpensive $30 or less and all very very pretty!

I think as long as it has a comb you can wear it however you want to, either on top or underneath.

Laura, DON'T BUY A VEIL YET!!! Trust me on this one. I am in love with another one, so I know first hand that buying one too early is not good. You have lots of time. Also, I have a veil, might have 2 and my sister has one. We all have combs. So, wait untill my wedding is done at least and see if you like any of those first. Okay!!! Just wait Laura, go to a lot of places and look for them and decide without a doubt what kind you want. And then you never know, you might like mine or my sisters and then that would save you A LOT of money. So just wait okay? lol How is that for pressure.
