Barcelo Bavaro Palace Deluxe

Thanks for the responses ladies.  Since I'm from Canada, my bank is charging me $40.  My travel agent is going to see if the fees are cheaper doing the transaction with them.  I just want to get this out of the way and on to more fun and exciting details.

No they do not. I was not asked for anything by Susana. But I would ask your WC just in case.

Hi ladies, Does anyone know if the resort requires you to furnish your legal marriage certificate before they will perform a symbolic ceremony? My fiance and I are thinking of doing the legal ceremony when we get home for personal reasons, and I just want to make sure this isn't an issue.

I did it through my bank free of charge. (Boa)

QUESTION LADIES: For the women who have done their wire transfer, do you mind me asking did you do it through your own bank or through your travel agent?  My WC is asking to do this through my travel agent which we are ok we just have to pay a fee.  We are still trying to contact our own bank to see how much the fees will be.  Also, how much were the fees (if you had any)?  It's just confusing since the first WC said we would do the transfer and my new WC is now saying I have to do it through my travel agent.  Thank you in advance :)

We were told that if we were to do a symbolic ceremony that we would have to have a marriage certificate to show the resort before they would do a symbolic ceremony.  That was by our travel agent though.  You might want to call the resort and check on that!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
