I have an appointment for 11am for 11/2 hours, not sure thats along enough though since we are looking for myself, bridesmaids and the moms !!! eeek Hopefully they will ship the dresses (if we decide) to the Missisauga DB :) that would be awesome !!

Happy Shopping Ladies !!!

We were at the Tonawando location last week. Try to book your appointment earlier! It starts to get busy after lunch. Also, pick some styles online so you know what you are looking for and can narrow down choices. It's totally different from shopping at any other bridal store where they pamper you. There wasn't a lot of choices for moms, very dark selection. But maybe that will change by then as they have new styles on the website. Boulevard Mall is right across the street, so you might have better luck at Macy's for the moms. We were in and out in about a hour, but my MoH only tried on three dresses.

Good luck!

It is true David Bridal is coming to Canada, however I am not sure what is wrong with the date. Actually it was suppose to open on 01/17/2011. I went there before that and spoke with the Dude that were setting up the store and they told me that from the looks of things they might not open on that and advised me to check at the end of Jan which I did but still not opened. I have been passing like every weekend for the last weeks. I was there on Saturday 02/05/2011 and there was no one. Saw a Fedex note on their door saying that " this i the last attempt to deliver their shipment from the US and if they do not pick up it will be return to the States" and this was on 02/03/2011 meaning that no one had been there for three days. The store is all set up just waiting for the dresses. I cannot wait for them to open. I will be so happy if they open before the end of Feb

for those in the toronto area that don't the short road trip (it's only an hour and a bit) there is also a brand new Alfred Angelo signature store very close to the David's bridal in Amherst/Tonawonda. if you go to alfredangelo.com and look up the store locations it provides a map. it's just off the 290 I think on Sheridan Drive.  their bridesmaid dresses are great and the prices are better than here in Canada. just an fyi

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
