We are getting married Dec at Riu Palace Mexico. I'm wondering if its possible to rent a suit somewhere around this resort? Or would it be better to just have all the GM's purchase their suits prior.. only problem they are all from different cities and countries (US & Canada)
What do most people do?

Mexico wedding... Suit rental or purchase?

I think most people purchase them but I could be wrong. If they are in diff countries you could pick a suit from a store ( like Banana Republic) and have them all buy that same suit. It would probablly be easier then renting when you get there.

are you set on them wearing a suit? many times just a simple linen or cotton khaki pants and a light shirt work perfect for a beach wedding. but i do think that those that had the men wear suits did purchase their own.

I have been trying to figure out the suit situation, but with summer clearing out there isn't much to choose from in the way of light colors, so I'm a bit worried. I have thought about the linen pants and light shirt, but since I'll be wearing a suit I don't want them to seem underdressed.
If no ones heard of suit rentals in Mexico then I may have to pick up the pace and find something fast!!

I think you should probably have them buy the suit. You can wait until the season starts again. I think Banana Republic and J.Crew have the tan suits and it makes it possible for the people in different cities to buy suits on line or in the stores. .

We are thinking about renting khaki suits from Jim's Formal Wear. They have a Destination line.

I will have to look into Jim's Formal Wear or something similar. I have checked out Banana Republic's and J Crew's website, but no luck on a light colored suit.
Since I live in Canada I might have to find a rental place here as it might be difficult to coordinate with a company from the US. I should have looked into this earlier, I just never thought it would be this difficult!?

Hello,
Wedding is a life time event, all love to treasure the sweet memory of such precious moment be it photos or gifts, it is better to purchase your wedding dress than to hire, you will have it for the rest of your life, is n`t that romantic.
