I just finished these up and I thought I'd post some pictures, I'm really excited about how these turned out!

Since I'm having a December wedding, and I'm obsessed with Christmas, I decided to make salt dough ornaments for everyone. They were incredibly easy to make not to mention cheap- the total cost for each ornament came to around .20 cents!

**My Logo and Stickers were made by Allurements by Rebecca. She's a genius and I highly recommend her!!

I made the dough, rolled it out and stamped on the logo using a rubber stamp that I had made and an ink pad. I then cut them out, poked a hole in the top and set them out to dry. Once they were completely dry, I sprayed sealer on them, glued on a few rhinestones and tied the ribbon. A little time consuming but really easy! If anyone wants to make these and needs more detailed instructions just let me know!

This is how I'm packaging them:

Thanks Guys!!

Msglave I'm so happy to have a date twin!! I can't wait to see your ornaments too, I'll go find them now!

For the packaging, It's just crepe paper that I wrapped them in. I cut wide strips of the paper, folded the ornaments inside and wrapped it around several times to add some padding. I'm a bit nervous that they'll break in transit. I then folded the top in a triangle and secured with the sticker Rebecca made for me.

Excellent Idea! I'm most likely geting married in January, but I love the idea of giving an ornament as a favor (I love Christmas too!). How did you make the dough? How many ornaments did you get out of each batch? Where did you order the stamp from? Did you use regular ink with the rubber stamper?

Love this Idea!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
