Puerto Vallarta photgrapher suggestions

Recommended Posts

I'm having a hard time finding good photographers that are based out of puerto vallarta. I would love to fly one in, but since Dreams already charges you a fee for using an outside photographer; then I would like to find one that is from there. Thanks!

If you look in the las caletas thread (a few pages back)  we actually just listed a bunch of photographers that the wedding coordinator there recommends. I think they are all from the area.  Let me know if you cant find it..I dont know how to quote it here.

Chicago is right! There is a bunch of links in the Las Caletas Thread

I would HIGHLY suggest my photographer, Nate Broshot! He is AWESOME! He isnt based out of PV, but you can email him and ask. For my wedding he was ALREADY IN PV! So that worked out really well for me. It is worth a shot!!

http://www.licensetostill.com is his site! He just posted some of our pics yesterday if you want to take a look

and here is the email that my WC sent me when I was looking for a photo

Good morning Kathy,

Hello ladies!

I think is my first post other than my initial "must-post newbie" thread and I am excited to be involved. Other than excitement, I am feeling like a crazy woman trying to find a photographer. I think I have been through them all and I am either in love and they are way out of my budget ($1,500-$2,000) or they are cheaper and lack the quality I desire. Here is the list I have so far...

*Franc Gole
*Andres Barria

*Andrienne Beth *Angela Gaspar *Carlos Melnik
*Juan Carlos Tapia *Roberto Avaces *Alfonso Lepe
*Christine Vincent *Michelle Turner *Elizabeth Lloyd *Elizabeth Medina *Nathan Broshot *Diana Flores *Alberto Aceves *Paulina Ulloa *And a few more I can't remember   I really heart Paulina Ulloa, her style is incredible. However, she is booked on my date and I heard she can be flaky. Please, please does anyone have any other recommendations? I would love you forever.   <3, Lauren   *Karla Benetiz

I used Nate Broshot and he is hands down one of the best decisions I during the entire planning process. He was amazing. He took time to scout out locations for our TTD shoo; was always quick to respond to emails; I never felt like I was bothering him when I would email him questions; he worked under Elizabeth Lloyd in PV for a couple years so he has plenty of experience; he has shot many BDW brides weddings and everyone has great reviews; even though he has shot weddings at dreams before he didn't repeat locations that I had seen on his blog for other weddings; he was so likeable and easy going my wedding party was in love with him. Overall though my pictures are amazing from one of the most important days of my life. I am still debating on which ones I want to blow up to put on the walls bc there really are so many to choose from I don't know where to start! In my eyes he would be the best choice! Check out his blog at www.licensetostill.com!

Ohh and Dreams didn't charge me a fee for bringing Nate in, all we had to do is give Rebeca his name and she put him on the list to get in the door.

I used Nate also! Jess and I got married a few days apart! She is soooooooooooo right about him being the best decision EVER!!! Everyone my wedding raved about how awesome he was too! He is amazing! Such a creative eye and passion for his work. He also really gets to know you and wants to make sure that he really captures your wedding specially for you! So worth the money!!! You can NOT go wrong with him. Just ask anyone that has used him here and I am sure they will tell you the same thing..

I dont think that Jessica's link to his blog worked so I will try it again

Take a look at his blog and read how he talks about the people he works with. You can tell he is a really wonderful person.

I don't know if you found anyone yet (probably) but if not, you can look into Elizabeth's assistant, Kiersten.  We actually booked her through Elizabeth. Her style is of course very similar to Beth's but cheaper.  Just an option!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
