Hey Jess,

I also e-mailed the hotel two weeks ago now and have heard nothing back. I really want to get married at this hotel, I have friends who have been there and said it was amazing! I am thinking that I will have a large group of around 50 people. I know of 30 people so far that are for sure coming. When I hear back for the hotel I will fill you in on the details!

Katie,

I've been trying to get in contact with the wedding planner Kim at the Occidental to set a date and she NEVER gets back to me. It's so frustrating!! If it wasn't such a beautiful resort, I would have went elsewhere by now. We're trying to set a date late March/early April 2011. Happy planning!

Hi ~

My name is Carrie and I'm new to this forum. I got engaged a month ago and would love to plan a wedding next fall at the Renaissance hotel. I sent my information to the wedding planner and are waiting to hear back as well. We're looking to have about 50-75 people at the wedding. Does anyone know if the private island can accomodate this many?

Katie,

Congratulations on wedding in Aruba. I can definitely recommend a great photographer who does alot in Aruba. He did my wedding and is very good and dependable. He lives in Miami, Florida. Well worth investment in beautiful photos. His site is www.frankpanarophotography.com

I have not seen many good photographers available in Aruba so check him out. Weather is always warm and dry in Aruba with very little rain and always a breeze which helps cool things down. Beautifull warm turqoise waters to swim in and real clean sand. You will love it there. People are real nice also.

Enjoy Aruba and Best of Luck always !!!![/b]

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
