Que Pasa Chicas! Engaged and stressed!

I am expecting up to 50 guests, my budget cannot exceed $15,000 for the DW. We are also planning two receptions: one in NYC, for mostly his family and friends and one in Dallas, Texas were I was born and raised (I have another budget for the receptions).

We don't necessarily have to do it at an AI, but I would like my guests to have the AI options available and near to whatever ceremony/reception site we choose.

A church in Cabo sounds like a good idea, Kiki! As long as at least one part of my wedding day is near water, maybe the reception.

Ok, now a guys perspective...

Hello and thank you for joining crazytown where no matter how many questions you ask, you will never be shot down... smile159.gif

My now Wife was bordering on insanity for 2 years regarding her planning...and I thought for sure that everyone would either kill her or me for making her wait...and both of us live...kind of...

If you are interested in a ceremony without half naked people around you, you're going to have a hard time as there will be people around you no matter where you go (unless you luck out and there is simply no one there by chance).

Drea and I got to the point where we didn't care and had it right in the heart of half naked parties...and it was a blast. we had our own cheering section when we kissed and I thought it was hilarious.

You can always have a perfect wedding...but I prefer the little strange things that will have people talking for years to come. That always seems to be the most memorable. My parents talk about a couple strange moments during their wedding, whereas, my two aunts get theirs confused all the time and can't figure out which was which...but they all know my parents... and now minesmile120.gif

Just a thought.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
