i was completely let down!!!!

i love sex and the city, and at the risk of sounding like a freak, the first movie made me cry like three different times!!!

the second one felt like a really long episode with hardly any story line....jmo.

yeah, I didn't like it as much as the first, the storyline didn't have a lot to it... but I still liked it!

I agree, SATC2 wasnt the Best but i still liked and enjoyed it...the acting sort of felt somewhat pushed and as though they were trying too hard...but like ive been saying, if youre a SATC fan, youll still enjoy it!

DH surprised me with tickets for a pre-party and then the movie so I was super excited to go and get to hang out with one of my GFs. We had a total blast at the pre-party, but when we got to the movie the other ladies had sent scouts to save whole rows at the theater. It was way annoying, but thank goodness we had made friends and some girls land they et us sit with them.

 

And I totally cried throughout the first movie too! And thought that the fashion was uber fabulous.

 

But this one did feel like just a long episode. I love SATC so that wasn't a let down, but where were the bleeding edge shoes and clothes? I think the camel scene and the Dior t-shirt outfit were the most out there. Although, I did enjoy the outfits all of the ladies revealed from under the black robes, but again it felt like a tv episode. Oh and what was up with the head piece that Carrie wore for the wedding? That one just kind of confused me.

 

Anyways, I guess in the end all of my babbling means that I do agree that you will like it if you like SATC

I loved it. (***SPOILER ALERT***)It had all of the requisite parts to be SATC: Carrie having relationship drama with Big vs Aiden, Miranda struggling with being a working mom, Charlotte struggling with admitting that not everything in her life was perfect, and Samantha just wanting to get laid. I loved the scene when Charlotte and Miranda were talking in the suite's bar....I thought it spoke well to how girlfriends can be soulmates too.

There were some really cheesey parts... like the 'I am Woman' karaoke, for example, but I didn't have overly high expectations and I enjoyed the movie over all. I too enjoyed the scene with Miranda and Charlotte in the suite's bar -- I can totally see that being me in 10 years if I have kids!

Yeah, I saw it on the release date super excited but completely let down! It was just 'OK" for me...I loved the first one and i too cried, and still cry when i watch the repeats on HBO....It lacked in a number of areas and I felt the Big "Big" announcement of Carrie Cheating..was soooo Boooo! I mean she could have did a lil more than just a kiss...smh. oh well...at least I can say I went , i saw, and I was able to tell the story. Mission Completion!

It want as good as the first one but I enjoyed it especially going out with the girls and making a girls night out.
