I agree with you Mrs. Williams. My FI is already afraid about people getting bored (he has never been to a Swedish wedding obviously LOL) and I would like it to floe into one another. On the other hand I don't want to risk not having time for all the photos. I think if needed be we could take pics before the ceremony, I'm not that traditional and as long as his parents don't find out that we saw each other before the ceremony I think it is okay. ;)

Might go for a 6.00 pm ceremony then. Now to decide what day of the week LOL!

May is getting full at our resort so most of the dates we can only choose between 3 pm or 6-6.30 pm.

I´m getting married in Cancun in may at 6 pm so I think you should pick 6 also!  My WC suggested we did the photo session before the ceremony so that it´s daylight and then some more after which will be sunset and then some more with the luminaries!shitfan.gifand plus it won´t be that hot!!

I'm getting married at Now Jade Riviera Cancun sometime during the first week of May lol! I am still trying to decide on the date, not sure what weekday would be the best. Any advice?

We have guests coming from the US (= shorter vacation = shorter stay) and guests from Europe (=more vacation = longer stay). I want to be there when the first people arrive too.

My ceremony will start at 4:30, originally we were going to start at 5 but my FMIL convinced me to start at 4:30 (old wives tale sake about the hand on the clock) anyway it's actually going to work out even better for us because I want plenty of pic time in between. Our cocktail hour will actually be 5-6:30 and the reception starting at 6:30.

Another question, what date will your guests be arriving and when will you guys get down there?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
