Have you tried asian ideas, they have great colors for the parasols and they are cheap too.

Brandy - i had literally watched episode after episode of say yes to the dress prior to going out for the first time. i was soooo nervous once we finally got there!  i went to a really small shop in a tiny town so it obv wasn't at all what i expected. i basically walked in and was given free rein to look around and just grab what i wanted to try. i didn't know what to do!!! once i tried on the first dress all the fears and nerves seemed to drift away and i had a blast!!! it was also nice only having my mom and FMIL with me too. they helped make my decision super easy hehe

so yes moral of the story, once you get that first dress on, i'm sure you'll feel fine! enjoy it! :)

my only tip to you Brandy is try on every style!  the one i ended up buying wasn't even close to what i had envisioned for myself and the only reason i agreed to try it on was because it was marked down from $1536 to $500! When i put it on that first time though... and more so that 2nd time (just to make sure wink.gif) i knew it was my dress!

I'll definitely let you know how it goes, I don't plan on buying anything today, because I still want to go to this shop in Delaware and try their dresses on they carry Maggie's and mori lee and I really want to try some of those on before I make my decision, but I really do need to make a decision soon!

Thanks Brandy, I will take a look on that site and hopefully find that shipping to Canada isn't too high.  I really like the picture you posted, because the parasol is both a pretty and solid colour...that is exactly what I am looking for, but in yellow.

have to agree with Lua's tip 100%...you may find you are very surprised by the style you end up choosing.  What I went in thinking I would like and what I ended up choosing, were COMPLETELY different.  Just have fun and try not to put to much pressure on yourself to find "the one"...you will! cheer2.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
