Lisa, I never really loved the dress I ordered, I just didn't want to be stuck without a dress. And now, I'm second guessing it again! I figure I have until mid-February to decide if I need to order another dress. I'm even tempted to try to find a sample dress. I'm also wondering how mine will be in our TTD photos.

Ya I don't know about this one either, I guess I will have to try it on and see if I get the feeling or not. I never got that OMG this is the one feeling in the beginning. I do have another knockoff dress that I am going to try and see if I can alter to what I want to use for my trash the dress but if all else fails I think I have another dress I like that I can order as a knock off. I don't know, it is such stress finding a dress. I wish I could go in yoga pants and a hoodie LOL

I'm sure the time will fly Brandy!!! :)

I have my dress and still haven't found the time to just try it all on!!! LOL .. so busy!!! since my dress was a sample, there are a few beads that are loose which I need to fix, so i'm thinking my mom and i will bite the bullet and get it fixed up and ready to go on the upcoming long weekend. then i can have her finally take some pics of me in it!

Aghhh, since you girls are the most active and helpful, I figured I'd vent here!!  My mom booked through her timeshare which is ending up to be a nightmare.  First, it seemed like a great idea as she told me the cost for the girls (my daughter and niece) was $476.00 for the week (plus a room fee of $212) for the week.  So, I was thinking awesome!!

Well, I finally get the certificate from my mom and read the fine print.  Kids over 12 are adult prices!  So, now we are at double the price, $136 per day instead of $68.00.  I booked their airfare and they're staying 6 nights, 7 days.  So I wanted to find out if the AI price is per days or nights.  Find out it's per night so I'm like okay good.  I email my mom the final costs and all and think okay, still a little less than my room rates.

Then, the lady emails me back and says that additional persons are even more, $190.00/pp per day!  Another $600+ more than I had expected!!!!!!!

Ugh, this really sucks for me b/c this is more and more debt.  My father is unemployed right now, so I will be footing their bill until they can pay me back.  This is so not what I felt like dealing with today.  :(  :(   Sooo mad!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
