Laura - I love your bouquets too! I think I'm going to try and make my own also. What are those white flowers? I'm horrible with flower names!

 

Erin and Brandy - I have the same issue with my FI. We agreed that we'd just ask our friends who are coming to stand up for us and whatever happens, happens. But we both have sisters and no brothers so they were an obvious choice for me, then we each have 2 friends coming, so I have 4 and he has 2. He keeps bringing it up that I have more than him, so I know it's definately bugging him. I'm starting to feel bad that I've asked the 2 extra girls....but I can't exactly go back on that now!! He has a couple of other friends that have been on the fence about coming, so I really hope that they do so he'll have another couple guys to stand up with him. I guess we'll see.

Ordered my maracas yesterday. Bought the light blue and lime green colors. Shipping was crazy to Canada at $40 so I sent them to grandma in Florida for $11. She almost had a fit!!! She says I just a little old lady you know, I can't carry all of that in my lulggage! It's 12 pounds and my girlfriend will be doing it for her so I told her no worries. Grandmas!!!!! I am so happy she is coming as I don't talk to my mother and her and I are super close.

Mocha-any news on your sister coming for your shower? Do you still wanna get those fans? Let me know when you get a chance...thanks

short, cute and not too expensive...no particular shade as she would be the only BM as of the moment.

Lisa - I was actually just going to send you a message. I had a huge blowout with my sister last night. Apparently she feels the need to run everything and doesn't think anyone but her can make a proper decision. She was very disrespectful to my MoH and when I politely asked her to be nice she started getting all defensive and crying. So right now I'm not speaking with her until she grows up and apologizes for treating my best friend like a servant. Which means I have put a hold to my US deliveries. I'm going to ask some coworkers about mail box delivery though.

Oh yeah, I forgot, with all of you talking about fill ins. My third BM has told me that she might be preggers and if she is, there's no way she can afford the trip. Is it bad/too late to ask another friend? FI & I were actually joking last night that I might end up with just MoH in bridal party and I was cursing him for having 3 best friends that had to be included.

Sorry to hear that Mocha but sounds like you have a very valid reason for doing what you are doing. Stand your ground! I haven't spoken to my sister really in months and she is in my bridal party so I have some sister issues too!
