Hi Ladies!  I've been stuck at the hospital on call since Friday morning, so I've gotten lots of stuff done in my down time!  I ordered some super cute wedge flip-flops from the same etsy person Brandy used (our resident shoe rockon.gif), finished our website with some updates, finalized our block of rooms for out of town guests for our AHR, booked my hair and makeup artists for Maui, ordered my TTD, confirmed our invite proof, and retyped our guest list into Excel so that the invitation company can print each address on our invites.  Whew!  Less than 3 months to go!

Brandy I'm loving your FI's suit!!  We're still looking for Greyson, and have considered using http://www.studiosuits.com/index.php?main_page=down_for_maintenance&zenid=de7ea5d659c36d87b4c9bf9034d2d73b.  If you don't mind me asking, how much was your FI's suit from Macy's?

Has anyone done a BD shoot yet?  I am wanting to do one, but am getting a bit nervous about running out of time!

Brandy, did you go to the bridal show in Lexington Park?  How was it?  I wanted to go but was super tired today.  I wouldn't worry about your blurt out.  He's a guy and he probably didn't pay too much attention.  Plus, on your day, he's going to be focused on YOU in the dress, not the actual dress itself.  :)

Well we went to that bridal show today, and I was sitting there talking to my FMIL and she was facing the door where the models walked out in wedding dresses, and next to me was my FI, well she gasped and said ooo look at that dress its gorgeous and I turned around and it was my dress!!!!! I shreeked and yelled thats my dress totally out of reaction and excitement! My FI caught a glance but then immediately covered his eyes it was so cute and sweet but he told me that he did see the dress a little but he didnt study it or anything. So Im really ticked at myself for my blurt! Should I be worried about it or not, I mean obviously he didnt see me in the dress but someone else, what are your thoughts on this is ok if FI sees your dress just as long as your not in it! I dont know I just feel so mad at myself right now!!!!!

Totally my pleasure.  I get so many emails from them, I actually have to not open them so I don't get "inspired" to order more.

Brandy, don't even worry about it, seeing a dress for a quick second is TOTALLY different than seeing his beautiful bride walk down the aisle.  As well all know, dresses always look different off the rack than they do on.  Besides, with all your awesome accessory finds, it won't even be the same outfit at all.

Brandy-Don't stress girl! It's ok that he has seen the dress cause seeing YOU in the dress will be totally different! He is going to melt i am sure! I have shown FI my dress online when I was trying to decide on a style with many others of course but he won't remember that it was even one I showed him once it is on me lol

Greysgirl-Wow good for you, you got ALOT done! Funny that you posted that suit link, I went to that site today but it says it is down for maintenance so I can't see any of the suits. Oh yeah girls I finally got FI to agree to wearing a suit! YAY well minus the tie but that's ok. He already has white linen pants but I don't think I will be able to match a jacket to it so we may have to find a white linen suit if anyone has any suggestions for sites I would love to hear them.

Oh and I found sandals at aldo's today for 50% off Paid 28$ taxes included. And found stuff for my gift bag for the flower girl and ring boy and that was about all I accomplished this weekend. Well i also kinda figured out what excursions we are going to do on each island we are visiting in greece just haven't booked them yet.

Brandy- I totally wouldn't even worry about it! I bet he's even more excited now to see you in it though! Greys- I really wanted to do a BD shoot and had planned on it but haven't lost nearly as much weight as I had wanted to and ended up not be able to fit it in the budget after everything I wanted for the wedding so I'm hoping to do it for our 1 year anniversary!

Brandy- Think of it as a teaser!  Now he will have more reason to be excited to see you in the dress since he's got a tiny hint of it.  I think it's a really cute story.  I'd just talk up about how wonderful you are going to look in the dress that he really didn't see.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
