I can't believe I miss this thread lol... I am also a Dec bride. My wedding is Dec. 29th. I am so excited can't believe the date is just around the corner. You girls have done a wonderful job planning it seems like some of you guys have almost everything. I have to be honest I am still not ready, I am missing several things like my flower girls dresses, accessories for me and little details. I read several girls where interested ordering maracas, I order from the same company they are great maracas specially for price and they have great customer service. I was able to get all the maracas in a turquoise color. I added our name and date with a special pen and also added little tags that says Shake them to kiss. I think its a great party favor. I will take a picture and show you guys. I received the maracas less than a week. :)

I actually asked my wedding coordinator at the resort and paying her to do so.  She offered to pick some up for us - 40 - she offered to do so without a fee.  I am not sure what I should bring for her as a gift.  We will also be giving her a cash tip as well. Any suggestions. It is such a help. I thought about ordering and buying them ourselves in Playa - but this will be such a time saver!!

Thats really nice!! I'm planning to pick them up in Mexico once we are down there because I don't want to worry about the transport down. Question, are you doing a pair of maracas per person or a maraca per person... I've seen it both ways. I have 32 guests so I'd need 64 (well 68, if I include me and husband to be) if I did a pair... I am worried that it will be harder to get that many down there... Any thoughts?

I asked my wedding planner and she told me they where more expensive in Puerto Vallarta that it was a great deal. I didn't want to risk it. Here's some pictures for you. The pictures came out a little dark.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
