Hello Everyoone!

Does anyone have any recent feedback/photos on the Cancun Palace resort? I am currently looking into 3 or 4 resorts and like many other brides I have not been able to find a lot of photo's or reviews on the Cancun Palace resort.

Thanks! :)

Hello Everyone,

Im a newbie bride to be....this forum has been so helpful in making a decision as we have looked all over the carribean.  We have narrowed it down to either Moon, Beach or Cancun Palace.  The Cancun seems so great, but I would love to see some pics.  If anyone has any to share please let me know.

Hello Shelbs97,

This is my first post ever I am a super newbie!

Congratulations on your weding!

I too am getting married at the Cancun Palace resort in April.  I am anxious to plan the wedding I am not one to wait to the last iminute but it seems unless you do a site visit you will not get any information before the 90 day mark.

I would love to hear/ look at any information you may find helpful.  I am doing the Sapphire collection, which collection are you doing?

Did you get any price lists?

Any insight you have would be great.  My wedding is small around 25 guests.  What size is your wedding?  My email address is [email protected]

Thank you,

Michelle

So, since you're going for a visit next week and I'm all of a sudden doing this 7 months from now, I'd love if you could ask a couple questions for me.

I really am curious about the fireworks. What kind are they? The one picture I was able to find that had some in the background made them look like white fountains, but I was wondering if there are more? How long do they last?

I'm also curious about the beach erosion that I've heard about and where the ceremony location is from there? Also, how public is the ceremony location since it is on a public beach?

This last question is about the resort or places around the resort. Is there a club or dance bar at the resort? Or, something close by the resort that you noticed that might be fun to goto the evening of the ceremony?

I'd also love to hear your thoughts on dinner/reception locations.

Thanks for your willingness to ask about things, and I hope you have a good time while you're there!!!

Ladies,

Quick question... I spoke to my WC this am, and asked about the possibility of bringing decorations to have set up on the tables.  I read that many of you have brought or are planning to bring your own reception decorations.  I was told that if I bring things to decorate that they will charge me a fee of $200 per table to set things up.  Was this a charge you had to deal with or was there a way around it?  Please let me know.  Of course I'm looking to save money if possible.

Thanks!!!

I was told this is a new policy as of 2/1/2012.  If you do not have a lot of stuff to set up (just table runners, chair bows and favors) they should only charge you $200 to set up everything instead of $200 for each table.

HOpe this helps!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
