i think its completely normal that you have fears and anxiety about being a mother...it's gotta be the hardest job in the world, i mean you are responsible for another human!!!

i've kinda lost my baby fever, because even though we're not trying trying, we're still not using any kind of protection and i guess part of me thought it would have happend by now. it's discouraging, but i know that i really want to be a mother soon so once we really start trying, i'm sure the excitment will come back to me.

Don't stress out too much, your baby fever will come back! plus once you get pregnant, you'll be soooo excited that it will overcome the fear wink.gif

Ahhh, you have made me feel a little better about me losing my baby fever!

Well as you said you are actively trying, so I wouldnâ€t be disappointed.

I think once we are officially trying after the wedding it will all coming flooding back to me (I HOPE!). It is so weird to think that when I had my baby fever it is was driving me crazy and not that itâ€s gone I miss

i worry a lot about the expenses that come with having a baby, because of my husband and I's salary, the government would not be helping much at all...and i worry more about while i am away from work, not getting my full salary and having even more expenses, how do people do it!huh.gif

Yeah, I don’t know how people do it. My FI and I need both of our salaries too. We would both like me to stay home, but we need the money, but then if I work we need day care. I think after the wedding I am going to hold my breath and hope it all works out!

Ohhhmylord! I have a bad case of baby fever, our wedding is just over 7 months away and all I can think about is starting a family, which is cool cause future hubby is on the baby train too. We're a young couple though so it's real weird that were so gung ho about starting our family. I guess we're both the kind of people that like to socialize, but loooove to stay home and relax together and do things just the two of us. So all I have been doing is creating baby name list, after baby name list, and even gone as far as creating 'what it would cost' budget to start our family (food, diapers, furniture, etc.) It's doable with our income, sooo I'm pretty excited. It could just end up being a honeymoon baby, or shortly after! Eeee!

I wish I could help! The only thing that calmed me down was thinking of the money and expenses and knowing that I need to fit into a wedding dress but I know that once we are married I will be going nuts with baby fever!!!

check this out, we are getting married in 2 1/2 months and all i can think about is starting a family with my wonderful husband to be...normal in a way right?..

well my entire life, 26 years old now....i never wanted children, didnt like them, did not want one, just doggies :) suddenly we bought a house 2 years ago, and these urges start just poping in my head outa the blue...dreams every now and then..and then every so often..boom BABY thoughts would come and then it started becoming more and more frequent...to the point of now being obsessed with thinking of when we should start trying to conceive...thinking of names, deco, all of it......my fiance is totally aware of my baby craziness and is completely excited that I want children and cannot wait to start trying...by the way, i literally wake up in excitement, thinking of deco ideas or names....and cannot fall back asleep because I am so excited..helloooo im not even pregnant or even close to becoming pregnant.....

we have not really set a date on when we should start trying, but we cannot wait...... obviously my biological clock that everyone told me would soon kick in has done so, FULL BLOWN...

has anyone else gone through this? please share so I have someone else to talk to about these overwhelming thoughts going through my mind 24/7 :)
Purpleshells, I am feeling the same way and we are hoping to conceive on our honeymoon. He and I both want to get started on our little family so I'm super exicted!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
