going baby crazy and not even pregnant or close to being

Wow! It's crazy that this was just started yesterday. I'm happy I'm not alone here and not the only baby crazy person around! I think a lot of my baby craze comes from friends starting to have babies and newly married friends who are thinking about starting to conceive.

One friend is actually planning on discontinuing her pill right before our wedding to hopefully conceive while in Mexico! LOL

My FI originally wasn't sold on having kids up until his niece was born this year and our friends started having babies but I always knew he'd come around. He's almost as crazed as me now!

Oh I definitely need drugs for the birth!! My FI and my Dad were both over 10lbs when they were born and I am not delivering a 10lb baby naturally!

Is it just me or has his thread made me think about babies morehuh.gif??

We have big babies in our families, too. The birth thing doesn't bother me too much- it's just (hopefully) one day and I'm really very healthy so I think I have a good chance of not having complications- plus my Mom had super easy child births. It's the bloody pregnancy that I don't look forward to. Nine months of not feeling like myself, being tired, gaining weight, swelling, maybe stretch marks, ugh. This is going to sound really vain so I apologize in advance, but I've always been pretty thin and don't like the thought of that changing. Plus people are always touching your stomach when you're pregnant and I'm a big believer in personal space. I'm not looking forward to the attention at all. Does anyone else feel like this or am I a just a cranky weirdo?

Im going baby crazy myself. Ive alreaady picked out names and nursery room! Before the wedding I would always say no to having babies whenever people would ask us but now I think Im ready. Although, it does scare me to death about the huge change that it will create in our lives. We are so spoiled with our freedom that we have.

When I was a teenager I had always envisioned myself being a very young mom. I wanted to have at least one kid before 25, but I'm 28 now so that didn't happened! LOL

I've had the name picked since I was very young too (my great-grandma's name), but FI has already chosen the middle name. That is, if it's a girl. If it's a boy, we are at a LOST!!! We've thrown around a few names, but nothing sticks.

FI's best friend has a 6 months old and are expecting the second child. They keep pressuring us to have kids NOW, so that ours kids can play together. Same for my friend who has fertility issues, she's pressuring me not to wait in case I end up having issues like her. But we really want to wait until after the wedding. It's one thing to be pregnant/have a baby when you get married here, but with a destination wedding it can make things VERY difficult. Plus, we want to enjoy our time together as well. Though we are not really just the two of us, he already has a 10 y.o. that spends every week-ends with us, plus one week out of two during summer and xmas vacations.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
