I'm torn on what to do for his suit. My dress is ivory, the BM is wearing an Ivory Guayabera short sleeved shirt.... I'm not sure if my Fiance should wear Ivory as well, or something a little darker for some contrast with an ivory shirt. I think that would be my preference. I am not enjoying this!

I have been trying to tell my brother that Brides are NOT the only ones that must wear white. That is an old tradition and smash the idea! I love the idea of the white linen suit.

Can someone post pictures of your wedding so that I can see it all together? I just need some visuals.

We ended up getting the FI the following jacket and matching pants:

John W. Nordstrom® Two Button Linen Sportcoat - - Nordstrom

It was a little more than we originally planned on spending (though it came with free alterations) but it's something he'll get more use out of - he won't be wearing this for the TTD!

We're leaning towards going with ivory cubavera shirts and natural linen pants for the groomsmen. The FI had suggested white shirts, but my dress isn't diamond white (he hasn't seen it), so I had to step in and nix that idea.

Here is what we're leaning towards:

Natural - Linen Pants Linen Trousers Pants [] - $46.00 : Studiosuits.com, Custom Suits | Designer Suits

Linen Rayon Blend Destination Wedding Shirt for men.: Beach Wedding Shirts | Guayaberas, Linen Pants, Boys Linen Shirts, Mexican Wedding Shirts.

Let me know what you think - we have to pull the trigger sooner or later!

FI has let me pick out everything and do everything but he wanted to pick out his suit - whenhe came home with a white suit i was a little unsure, but it's grown on me - there is no "have him do anything"

Thank you. It was the right choice. Our bridesmaids wore turquoise blue and groomsmen wore black tuxedos with turquoise blue and we asked all our guests to wear colorful outfits. No funeral wear. It worked out well! In my opinion I would suggest the groom to wear white or diamond white or ivory because other people will wear tan suits. He won't stand out if he wears a tan or black outfit.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
