We were very close to booking the Dreams Riviera Cancun and then found the hotel's facebook page and pictures - the wedding gazebo is so close to the pool and has absolutely no privacy! We were so glad we found the "real" pictures and did not book there.

Now we are looking at the Le Meridien Cancun or the Fiesta Americana Grand Coral Beach. The Le Meridien has been so nice and personal, but Fiesta Americana looks beautiful as well.

Any advice??

Mary :)
Hi Mary! I was in the same boat with Dream's Riviera Cancun. I LOVED everything about it until I started reading about the gazebo. Due to this we decided to go with Dreams Cancun. I haven't looked into Le Meridien Cancun or Fiesta Americana Grand Coral Beach, but I'm sure this is the place to get great information! Happy planning!

While Dreams Cancun is located close to one of the pools. The Gazebo is out on a point and keeps the people away from your site. It is not perfect... but as a photographer, I have never had a problem getting images at Dreams Cancun without hotel guests in the back ground. The hotel is relatively small as well compared to other large resorts in the area. Not to mention the light house and pier which as great.

Remember... if you choose a beach wedding... I can be very difficult to keep people away from your site and we often get on lookers standing off on either side or your ceremony watching.

Best of luck with all your planning.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
