When you did get married there? We are leaving for Cancun on Wednesday and the wedding is Sunday! We are planning to have the reception on the outdoor terrace but are afraid it will still be too hot at 7pm. Where did you have your reception? Thank you so much for sharing!!

Hi Simba!! I'm so excited you are having your wedding at Le Meridien in April! I can't wait to hear about it! Patricia the WC has been so so amazing. She has gone above and beyond our expectations and is so personal. We are 99% sure we'll be booking our wedding here in the next couple of days. Lalanyc- Is there a specific reason why you chose not to book here after you visited? We won't have a chance to visit first because we had other vacations and friends' weddings coming up. I appreciate everyone's insight!!

Hii! We are planning our August 15, 2010 destination wedding and have found that Cancun offers the lowest rates for flights (from CT or Boston) and the most reasonably priced hotels and packages. The hard part is choosing one! We were very close to booking the Dreams Riviera Cancun and then found the hotel's facebook page and pictures - the wedding gazebo is so close to the pool and has absolutely no privacy! We were so glad we found the "real" pictures and did not book there. Now we are looking at the Le Meridien Cancun or the Fiesta Americana Grand Coral Beach. The Le Meridien has been so nice and personal, but Fiesta Americana looks beautiful as well. Any advice?? Mary
