hiya nicyx, i´m going shopping with my mum on wednesday to look at dresses. managed to find a shop that stocks slim-line chiffon type dresses from england, as most of the spanish dresses are huge satin jobs, which i´d love, but would prob have to wear everyday as i´d have no room in my case for anything else!

Ooooo, That will be great :-) I know what you mean!! The big dresses are beautiful but just (for me, anyway) not practical, and to be honest ive never really been into big wedding dresses for myself anyway, This is the dress im going to be getting

I was quite lucky and found it on my first dress hunt, it was the second dress i tried on :-)

I think its ideal for a beach wedding :-) There are some beautiful beach wedding dresses out there, Mine is Maggie Sottero "Sterling" & I love it :-)

Are you having a beach wedding or are you in a gazebo on the grounds? x

Wow that dress is gorgeous! I like loads of the maggie sottero dresses, don´t think there´s anywhere out here that stocks them though. i´ve been thinking about getting one from an internet knock-off site, just a bit dubious incase it turns out pants.

at the moment we´ve said we´ll get married in the garden, so it´s a bit more private, i don´t want some fat bald bloke in his speedos on my photos. lol. may change my mind once we get there tho..... can´t wait!

i love everyone´s ideas on here for making OOT bags and stuff, but i know there´s no way i´ll get round to it myself, and if i did i´m not sure how to get them out to mexico, thompson´s 23k luggage allowance won´t stretch that far!

Im going to go for it, was a bit worried myself at first but my dress is £900 (which i know isnt expensive for a wedding dress) but i really really dont want to spend that on a dress not even my wedding dress do im going to go for it, i found my dress for €138 which i think at the mo is about £125 ish.... im still abit scared it going to come back not as i want it but it really is a chance im going to take for that price!!

Were going for the beach wedding, but i know what you mean about they guy in the speedo's... haha... i really will just tell him to move!!!! :-) i was looking at pix of the Tequila a few weeks back on tripadvisor and saw a wedding in the gardens.... looked gorgeous :-)

Yeah, i love the OOT bag idea, i must admit never heard of them b4 i came on here though.... I was going to do them but now im debating if i still am? not sure yet. and good point about the luggage allowance!!!

We are getting married in March 2011 at the Grand Palladium in Riviera Maya. I cannot wait!

I've chosen my STDs this week and am ordering them this week... and I bought my dress yesterday!!!! YAY! I know, it's quite a bit in advance... but I started looking a couple of weeks ago and I'm not into shopping that much and was sooo ready to settle on a dress! I found one that I absolutely adore.

Hi girlies and welcome new brides!!!

I've not done anything wedding like this weekend. Well i say that but me and mum went shopping yesterday and it sort of turned into a MOB dress hunt! She didn't find anything she liked :o(......

Today we went to visit friends that just had a baby and sat out in the sunshine. So a nice relaxing day!

The wedding is alway at the front of my mind though and it's the first thing i think of when i wake up! What will i do when it's all over....huh.gif? I will have wedding blues, lol.....

Friday one of my bridesmaid and me looked up some resort pics and read some wedding reviews which was nice! Just makes me want to go even more :o)

4 sleeps!!!! Nicy!!!!

Nicy i've just looked on that site and my dress is on there for 185!!!! I feel sick. My dress was £1450!!! I got it for £1225 but it's a massive difference on that site. I just thought i'd be safer going into a shop? Did trust getting it online......I dont know, never mind i'll have to swallow it now!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
