Recommended Posts

Hey there ladies,

I m getting married in under 2 months and have yet to pick flowers! Im stressin just a lil! I kinda know what I want and would like to send them my ideas. I have emailed Tai Flora and no response. I emailed Jan last week and I have yet to hear from them as well! Do they usually take a while? And am I running out of time?

Has anyone gone through ROR for the free flowers and then got other flowers from Jan's? Is this allowed? I'm just wondering if I need to increase my budget for flowers. I've been in contact with Jan's and I"m pretty sure they are going to do my bridesmaid flowers and groomsmen and table center piece. Just wondering if I need to have her do mine? Thanks!!

yea I also wanted to work with grande garden. they responded to me fairly quickly with an info sheet asking me to fill out exactly what I wanted and set up a time to call... which I did about 2-3 weeks ago and havent heard back from them. I emailed her again, (Charmain Phang) but she still hasn't responded I'm not sure why. It's probably also good to call these places too if we don't here a response because they proabably get slammed with emails.

This might sound a little tacky, but Im thrilled with it......I picked up my bridesmaid flowers at Michales the weekend, a cute little boquet with long real green stems all ready tied n everything, perfect size..perfect color...(white n green) and I bought roses-they look soo real to make for the guys boutinnaires.....and my own flowers and the grooms boutinnaire will be real and included with our package. I just figured why not? one less thing to pay for....they were only 8 bucks each..half price lol...small enough for suitcase, big enough to see on pics......and Ive seen pics of weddings where the flowers dont match any of the theme colors etc, and Ive read about people being disappointed for the money they pay....so frig it, they re getting fake ones, and actually--everyone loves them...lol....just sayin lol

I was wondering if anyone saw or knows what the flowers for the free bouquet at the ROR looks like. It seems like everyone goes outside of what is offered and was wondering why. Is the bouquet ugly? Are the flowers not pretty at all? Just curious. I am really not picky about the flowers that I have, I just want them pretty and am really concerned with the "free" bouquet and the ones that they charge you on the "extra" list.

Thanks!

Did you ever get copies of any of these photos?  If you did, if you could kindly me copies it would be GREATLY appreciated!  [email protected]  Thanks

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
