Oh my gosh! I'm so happy you commented on my question!! Thank you so much, it's much nicer to know that other people have to wait as well!! If you don't mind, how was the food at Montego Bay? I've read mixed reviews some say it's wonderful & others say it's horrible!

Welcome Amber! Actually, it's almost a good thing you have to wait so that you can shop around for pricing!!! That way you can be sure you're getting a good price once the tickets do become available. I've read that airlines often don't provide the best pricing until some months before the departure dates so definitely do some research!

Hi Amber

i am booked for april 2010 at the RIU montego bay

i had to wasnt able to book mine until april 09 as flights had not been released any earlier

i have also read several mixed reviews on the food but i think sometimes the bad ratings would depend on a few things:

do you normally eat at top restaurants where everything is served perfectly?

do you mind if you have to wait for a short while to get the food you want/ordered?

have you got any allergies / dietary needs?

if you answer no to all of the above it will probably be " no problem mon"

if like me the last one is a yes then your choices may be slightly limited but as long as you are not focused on the bad points you wont even notice ( well thats my opinion on it)

i read loads of reviews that scared me a little but then i sat back and thought "im on holiday i am getting married and i will have people around me "

xx

hope this helps and doesnt sound bad as i meant it in a nice way xxx

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
