Flights to Cabo in March from Edmonton

Recommended Posts

I was just wondering if anyone else from Western Canada was having flight issues to Cabo from Edmonton & Calgaryfor March 2010. Our wedding date is supposed to be March 11 at the Riu Palace but our fly out date of the 8th as been changed to either the 4th or 11th which does not work for the wedding date. We have been waiting a week to hear back from our travel agent but the only response we have got is that the Edmonton flight may change again and Calgarys date of the 8th may change as well.

Before my wedding I was told that if I was booking with a charter and not through WestJet Vacations or Air Canada Vacations that there was always the risk that they could change the flights. It didn't happen to us, but I know other people that did have their flights changed and in some cases cancelled by Sunquest. You should talk to your TA.

We are flying out of Calgary instead because that was the only way Sunquest would give us the lower prices that we had already been promised. And.. the guests that were already flying out of Calgary are having to fight to get their tickets at the lower price. I defiantly should have booked with a charter.

Oh no! I am worried about our plans for next year, we're traveling from Edmonton as well. We are booked at the Palace for a Friday, February 18, 2011 wedding. Right now the charter with Sunquest is tentatively scheduled for Monday Feb 14, 2011.

Does anyone know if they base the flight schedule on previous years? Which travel agency are you dealing with cabobride11?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
