Las Caletas Couples ~ POST HERE!!! (**All LC Brides...PLEASE READ 1st post, red text)

you may not have a choice on time to go over, like others said we went over with their daily tour that left at a certain time. it was earlier than i'd have liked, but oh well - it was worth it.

and lunch is included in that price, or at least was when i did it - i'm sure it is, you get the same benefits the rest of the tour gets. though you get 1st choice on massage times and stuff!

Stage name? That's crazy weird. I'd assume he would have already made a name for himself with Nate Cordova so I guess I don't get the rebranding. Eh- whatever. He's a cool guy. Elizabeth Lloyd kinda started like that because she was also Beth Fladung. Mostly because Fladung was her maiden name I believe but she didn't have "Elizabeth Lloyd" established as her career name and often times people on here would be like "soooo should I book Beth Fladung or Elizabeth Lloyd?" It was kinda funny though. She was just starting up the wedding side of her biz at that time and getting a website so those kinks got worked out soon.

Ok....Here I go....another question to share w/ all you Las Caletas brides. Is the Chuppa extra? Kelly hasnt said anything about this to me yet? It appears everyone had one. Can you bring your own decorations or is this prohibited? Boy, I havent even researched a photog yet......Be prepared for more help. You ladies should have a WC fee (ha).

Ok- I'll accept payment via paypal. wink.gif

I might let the new brides answer this definitively, but it was extra when I got married. Their standard provided decor was an arched palm leaf. You can bring whatever decor you want. I had the chuppah, but then I brought a capiz shell curtain as extra. I also brought down decor for the tables.

oh i can take paypal too wink.gif Hey better you ask us these easy detail questions then Kelly (in my opinion and of course until you get super close to your wedding). That poor girl (kelly) is all on her own these days coordinating!

I can't add anything more to the chuppah question than what rachel said, prob a more recent bride should answer that!

so ya that is what this forum is for...to help brides! so keep researching away here! I think you are doing just fine right now!

Nessa- I think there is a standard one and any changes you want are extra. All the fall/winter brides just got an email from kelley asking about specifics. I know she sent me different pics of chuppas. I cant find the prices though. She will basically do whatever you want with it.

As far a photographers, I went with elizabeth lloyd. I believe that Nate had worked with her before going on his own. Is that right, girls?? she is a little expensive but I love her work.

I've sent Elizabeth an email to see what her prices are. I've been so busy with the OOT bags, buying stuff off other folks, getting my dress, and I completely left out the photog (silly right?). How could I forget PHOTOS...the most important thing. I was wondering how good the island photograher is........

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
