I just saw your wedding dress, beautiful!!!  Where did you end up getting it?  I'm hoping mine will be in soon.  My FI and I also went and got our bands on the weekend.  One more thing checked off the list - YAY!!!

 

Christmas might be doable but it's pretty hard if everyone is busy.  We are staying here for Christmas so if we plan on a date I'll probably be able to make it :)

Hey Linds!

 

I got it at Cameo & Cufflinks! For the most part they were really great, and I loved the dress, so it all worked out! Where did you get your dress from? When do you expect it to come in?

 

I was thinking if we plan something in the evening the week of December 13-17th? What does everyone think? I know it's a super-busy time, so we can wait until the New Year...

I think a Christmas meet up would be fun! I could do any day that week except the Wednesday (15th) as I have a class.

 

FI and I got his suit this weekend!! I'm so happy, it's the first thing we've crossed off the list after a few months of not doing anything wedding related! It's grey, from MEXX at Cross Iron Mills. He looks sooo good in it too, I can't wait to see him wearing it when I walk down the aisle :D (and bonus, the whole suit cost $199!)

 

As an FYI to the ladies who were interested in the J Crew suits - I got a 25% off email today for orders over $150. It says to use code 'Turkey', and it ends Sunday.

 

Congrats on the wedding bands ladies! We started looking at rings this weekend and I have a feeling I will need to get something custom made, as my e-ring band is pretty unique and nothing seems to fit it really well. Has anyone had a ring custom made here in Calgary? Any suggestions for where to go? I'm hoping it's not going to cost an arm and a leg...

I also got mine at Cameo & Cufflinks.  I loved it there!!!  My dress should be here in the next couple of weeks. Can't wait to see it again but then I have to go for alterations.

I'm in for a meet-up that week!  Proti, your dress is beautiful (saw it on the other thread as well) - great choice!

 

aww you ladies are wedding band shopping now, thats exciting.  I am finally just getting my e-ring in the next week or so lol.  FI was a little behind the ball on that one!  It's custom designed, I can ask him for the contact info for the guy he is using.  Not sure how much he paid for my ring, but he did say the guy's pricing was very reasonable.

I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
