In search of Planner

I'm getting married at Coyaba too. They gave me Wedding Planner Plus and Tropical Weddings. I went with Michelle at Wedding Planner Plus because it was cheaper. We don't have 200 people though. We just have about 41 plus a few babies.

Most of my fiance's family lives in St. Ann so that's why we are having the wedding there.

The only problem we have so far is that we didn't like the cake so I'm having it done here and I'm waiting back from her about them decorating it. I'm picky about my fruit cake.

Not sure how I missed this...I loved it! I booked right away! I have pics if you want to PM me your email addy and I'll send you a link.

I went with them b/c we have too many locals, therefore the resorts weren't an option. Still working on the vendor thing -- I know I'll need some assistance with that part b/c Coyaba doesn't provide anything.

•2 certified copies on the Ministerâ€s Certificate
•Rental Fees for Coyaba River Gardens & Mahoe Falls
•Decorated Garden Venue to include decorated Arch & decorated Signing Table
•40 chivari chairs for guestâ€s seating
•1 Fresh Flowers Bridal Bouquet & matching Boutonniere
•Taped Musical Accompaniment
•50 4â€X6†Wedding Photographs
•Complimentary CD with Photographs
•Wedding Album
•Decorated area & Set up for Wedding Dinner to include:-
Signature Punch served following Ceremony
Set-up of Dinner table & seating (chivari chairs will be used for guestâ€s seating)
2 Tiers Jamaican Wedding Cake
Use of Cake Knife & Lifter Set
Dinner for 38 Adults plus 3 children

I will be adding a videographer and flowers for the BM, MOH, BM and GM. The videographer is around US$200 and the flowers were very reasonable too.

I'm very pleased with her so far.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
