bouquet's as centerpieces?

I am thinking of using our bouquet's as the flowers for our centerpieces. I searched and found people talking about doing this generally, but nothing specifically about whether they actually did it or if there were any problems (i.e. wilting). Has anyone seen this/done this/see any problems that might come up?

That's a great question as I've been considering doing that myself. I'm interested to hear what others have to say.

A friend did it at a wedding I went to down south. I didn't notice any wilting, the bridesmaids just plopped there flowers into the empty vases when they got to the reception. Just be sure to get a vase that will fit so no one has to run around looking for scissors.

I talked to a girl who did this, not only did their flowers last the night, they lasted all week! They were put into their rooms in vases by the staff and that they looked and smelled great all week. I will be doing this also.

Awesome idea it would be great to use the bouquets for more than just the ceremony.

Definitely going to do this!  Also thinking about reusing the pomanders from the aisle decor as well.  So bouquets for head table and pomanders for the rest.

I was thinking the same thing... I guess I'd have to bring vases from home though
