Anyone have any recommendations for videographers/photographers in Negril? I'm getting married on May 26, 2010 at Riu Palace Tropical Bay. Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I don't know specifically who is in Negril, I'm sure there are certainly some reviews around of Negril girls and who they used.

You can also look into bringing a photographer w/ you. We did that and it was the best we had them for a week and in the end spent as much or a little bit less than a photographer in RM but got a weeks worth of amazing photos! Thanks for the tip, Jacilynda. I have thought about that, although in my mind for some reason I just kept thinking "flying someone to Jamaica with us will be way more expensive than hiring locally!" But I guess the more I think about it, the more sense it makes. I'm definitely gonna look into that =)

I also thought that, but in the end it worked out great for us, we actually had 2 photographers throughout our wedding week

I have spoken to a local named Diana who is in Negril. She and her husband own Digital Memories Photography. SHe has been very sweet and accomodating so far. Hopefully we can use her next month!

Check with Diana Campbell. She is very reasonably priced.

Thanks for all your suggestions, ladies, but FI and I have decided to go with Stacey Clarke - her work is amazing, she is very reasonably priced and she has been so incredibly nice over email. Also she is very fast at responding to my millions of questions! After our wedding I will be sure to do a complete review of Stacey's work (along with a complete review of my wedding in general, of course!)

just wondering... how many hours did anyone book stacey clarke for on their wedding day? I booked her for 5 hours. My wedding starts at 4pm, I'm mainly interested in getting a few prep photos for me, my fiance, and wedding party, pre-ceremony before the ceremony photos before, ceremony, detail photos, a few post-ceremony, and reception photos.

Woow seems like I'm asking for alot but will 5 hrs actually be enough?

Please let me know I'm wonder what time I should ask her to come and make sure she stays enough into the reception. What times did you guys book her for when you used her?
