staceyg
We're getting married at the Iberostar Varadoro the end of April 2010 and are debating on whether we should stay the one week or two. We were really hoping to stay 10 days so that we would have a couple of extra days to ourselves but unfortunatly, the only options are 7 days or 14 days. I fear if we stay we'll be ready to come home before the 2 weeks is up but if we don't stay, than we will be wishing we did! Any other brides out there stay for 2 weeks?? Thoughts? Recommendations? IMPPEARL
We are staying for 2 weeks for sure! We only plan on doing this once and are going to make the best of it!! We however are upgrading to a different resort, as you said sometimes you get kinda sick of the area you are in, not to mention the food at the resort. A change of resort should mix things up a little, and we are upgrading to something that we wouldn't normally go to, it makes it a bit special for our honeymoon! josee
We are staying for 2 weeks. This way, we will have a week long to party with family and friends and then the other week by ourselves.
JOSIE
I'd do 2 weeks!
JOSIE
we're doing 10 days. 5 at the resort we're getting married at, and 5 at a different adults only resort for our mini-honeymoon. i dont think you can go wrong with 2 weeks! it sounds like 10 days isnt an option for you! I'd stay for 14!
Kristy!
I like the idea of going for 2 weeks and changing up the resort. Enjoy your honeymoon. This only happens once!
AnyafromCineart
Definitively two weeks! You will be busy entertaining your friends and family and preparing to the wedding, then recovering fromThis week will go really fast. One week for family and friends and one for your hubby and you will be a bliss.
cbell
We're only doing 1 week but I would've loved to do 2 weeks! We both started new jobs recently so won't have that much vacation in Nov, plus we want to go skiing in Feb/Mar. Work gets in the way of all the fun stuff! I say go for 2 weeks, who would get bored of relaxing in the sun?? Not me!
bride2010
We're also doing 2 weeks and upgrading to a nicer adults only resort the second week. A friend of mine had a destination wedding last year and only stayed 1 week, and she always felt that that was her biggest regret. She was so busy on the days leading up to the wedding and spending time with her guests that she and her husband never really got to relax. itsfinallyhere
We are doing two weeks. We just don't feel we will be able to do enough given the amount of time the wedding is going to take. So out of One week we would only had a few days left to ourselves. So we will go for 2.
