Vday - I have a photo of a program on the rafia fans...but it is in a word doc and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to upload them on here! I am sorry guys...I would love to share more of what I have done but I just can't get it! As soon as I figur it out Timberly, I will show you.

Brooke - Slimer tattoo! That is funny - its not I know, but can you imagine telling your kids you were a big Ghostbusters fan....seriously...I am sure it will be fine. In theory it all goes back in place, right?

You know what..I love the song by Andrea B...Con Te Partiro....I am walking down the aisle to that song! It was in a bridal show I was a part of years ago and I always swore if I got married that is what I would walk down the aisle to. Good choice!

I wish your airline came to Canada or somewhere near Western Canada! Oh well...we shall see closer to the date. I don't know if I can get another week off to come to Mexico in the summer.

Shells....lol....they are so sparly and we had it set in a bezel so it would be flush and not catch on things.....so now there is the stone and shiny white gold all around it! I will try again and if I still cannot get it, I will see if the designer can do it next week when we go see her. I am sure she takes photos of these things all the time.

Tricia - your rings are beautiful! Very elegant and vinatage looking.

I love your frisbees! Those are so cute!

Susie - the photo with your names in the sand is really cool! That turned out so nicely.

Timberly - sorry your pamper day was not so greatsad.gif You will have to make sure you get a massage on the beach when you get down south. They are supposed to be amazing and super relaxing!

I got tons of sleep today! Thanks gosh....slept from 6 am till about 230 pm. Then went to have a birthday dinner with FMIL and here I am at work. No nightmares this time Erica, but I had a doozy the other day. I had my second fitting the next morning and my dream was that we were suntanning the morning of the wedding and then when I put my dress on for the wedding everyone was laughing and pointing when I was walking down the aisle. I looked to see what was so funny and my boobs were GYNORMOUS! I was so devastated in my dream I woke up and FI asked if I was having nightmares about bears (I am terrified of them). This was because I am not very well endowed and my dress is backless with the lace up corset. So they are putting a set of pads into the dress to push up what I do have....it does not make the boobs look bigger, just pushes up what I do have. Well I was starting to get worried it was going to look like I stuffed the dress...and guess what that turned into when I was sleeping.

I am going to wear my ering on my right hand and during the ering couple of lines have FI put it on my finger after the wedding band is on. At least that is the plan now....it may change, who knows at this pointwink.gif

I forgot to share pics of my flowers... I just love them!

Now I just have to pack them good so that they travel down to Mexico okay. I have a folder of receipts for all the stuff I'm bringing down there. I hope I get a green light and don't have to go through inspection!

Tricia -- love your rings! They are very similar to mine.

Went and ordered my wedding band today, the matching one to my e-ring. It should be here in 3 weeks. One more thing off my list!

Regarding music, I think we'll just have whatever the resort offers for recorded music; I can't see paying the whopping fees they charge for live musicians for such a short ceremony. We are renting out the disco at the resort after the dinner reception so we can do some dancing, and the DJ will be able to play our music, so that will be when we can have what we really want.

I just assumed that when your FI puts your wedding band on, it just goes on top of the e-ring, then you switch it later. Your engagement ring symbolizes one thing, the wedding band symbolizes something different, but there isn't any need to remove your engagement ring, ya know?

I totally hear you about the wedding nightmares! I had one the other night, and while I don't remember all of it, I do remember looking at the clock in my dream and realizing I had barely any time to get my hair and makeup done!

Resting my weary legs after some cross-country skiing this weekend....

I did send an email to the wedding planner at my resort to ask her what kind of music they offer. I just hope it isn't tacky and if it is I wish I could bring our own music for the ceremony. I guess we'll just have to wait and see! I'm not going to stress about it too much!

I'm glad I'm not the only one having wedding nightmares! I hate those nightmares when you are late and don't have time to get ready. My sister (she is my MOH) had a nightmare that the plane took us to Florida instead of Mexico and we decided to get married there without our guests. Then she said when I came down the aisle I was pregnant! Whoooahhh! I am hoping for a honeymoon baby but that is not until after the wedding... hee-hee!

So another question.... How many of you are going to be trying to get prego right away? smile02.gif

Erica, actually I have thought the same thing. My body is super sensitive to sodium. All it takes is me going out to dinner and having a couple of drinks and I can't get my ring off the next day. During Thanksgiving it was stuck on there for 3 days! Like really, really stuck. It was horrible. I had to wash my hair with it on when I showered! I had them size my ring up a quarter size when they had it while making the custom band. When I got it back this past Saturday it felt pretty loose. Tony and I went out to dinner Saturday night and I had 2 drinks and Sunday I woke up and couldn't get it off til the afternoon. It's horrible. And being at an all-inclusive resort for 3 days before the wedding!! I have worried about the same thing!

Beautiful flowers, Erica!

As far as the pregnant question...I'm hoping within the first year.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
