What do you mean "ures"? I got mine on weddinglinensdirect.com so whatever is on there.

I just bought the regular size chair sashes, I believe they also sell a thicker one as well but I am pretty sure they are the same things as their table runners.

I am also wearing a veil. I just always pictured me wearing one on my wedding day. I think it is definitely a personal decision. And for the reception, I will take off my veil and put 2 orchids in my hair. (I am a hairstylist and have a hairstylist bridesmaid and friends coming to help for this part!)

I dont leave DRC till the 28th April, might see some of your wedding!. Thanks for the advice .... Evangelina did tell me i would have to pay for wedding day passes for my guests; but didnt mention i would have to pay extra for the cocktail hour and dinner reception! and she was aware none of my guests are staying at the resort. I will have to email her and double check everything. Otherwise semi private dinner sounds like a good idea. :)

Ya originally we wanted 3 weeks but our travel agent said that we would have to pay for extra flights because they only come in 1 and 2 week packages, which I found to be completly ridiculous! But ya I'm sure guests would give you and your hubby some private time knowing that your recently married and wanting some private time. As far as I know we are having about 25 people, its still unknown because some people want to get those last minute deals and stay at different resorts, which I'm finding to be annoying because I don't know when I'll have the final number. What about you are you having lots of people or just a few? As for colours I'm going with a blush and an ivory/white theme. Kind of classic and elegant, I think I have some pictures on my profile. Have you decided on colours yet? We have also decided to get married at the gazebo because not only is it gorgeous with a beautiful backround, but it has the solid runway which is perfect for heels because the height difference between my FI and I is like 1ft 2inches! and we're hoping to have our reception on the patio. What details have you figured out so far?

How many people are you expecting?

Hello Brides!

Can anyone help me with a couple of questions

How much will it cost to have a DJ and light up dance floor for 3 hours?

Do you get white table cloths for the reception dinner included in the wedding package, or do yo have to pay extra?

Does anyone know how much taxis are in mexico?

Hey Dominique.

Dj costs $300/hr . . . so it would cost $900 for 3 hours, and the light up dance floor(holds 30 people) costs $580. Not positive, but I am pretty sure that white table overlays/napkins come with all packages.  Not sure about taxis costs though!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
