Help, Blank plastic sticker paper for travel mug

Recommended Posts

Hi All!

I'm looking for blank plastic sticker paper to monogram my aluminum water bottles that I'm giving my maids. Has anyone found them instore?

I thought it was easier to post a thread than search the hundreds of pages :)

Thanks!

AJ

I found some at an office supply store. The package has 10 sheets that are 8.5x11. I estimated that I could fit 6 logos on each page, so one package of the sticker paper would make 60 logos for me - not bad. Here are the details:

Avery Clear Sticker Project Paper (Ink Jet) #4383

I think I paid something like $13 for the one package. You could probably find it on sale or use a coupon to bring the price down a little.

Yeah, I need the answer to this question too, so don't feel bad! I am most likely only going to need to have a small number of them in the end after all the RSVPs come back, and I don't want to spend a fortune getting mugs actually printed with our logo, so I'm in the same boat as you.

To Ashley -- I wanted to ask: if you haven't already printed them, I was curious about whether or not you've thought about what type of ink you're going to use, or do you think standard printer in going to work? Therein lies my dilemma; I'm afraid we are going to run into issues with ink smudging or not adhering to the sticker.

Please give us a head's up if you can help! wink.gif

I looked at zazzle.com too. I'm worried that the stickers aren't going to stick or stay on for very long. I looked at their bumper stickers and they are waterproof and should have more stick to them! I was going to put 3 or 4 logos on each bumper sticker and then cut them out myself. Only $4 each.

Well, I printed my stickers. I used regular printer ink and they turned out fine (for my invitations), however, I noticed after I posted on here that my sticker paper is "repositionable" - probably not what you want for travel mugs! So, I would definitely try the bumper sticker idea and let us know how it goes :)
