thanks Lisa! We truly had so much fun on that day. It was one of the happiest days ever.

I have a question about your flowers. I saw that you had a suitcase full of flowers. Did you just take them all off the steams and sprinkle around for decor...and put them through the bows on the back of the chairs? Such a nice touch!! Also are those the same flowers that the girls have in their hair?
Yes, i bought many steams of different kind of orchids (hot pink orchids, white orchids, pink orchids) ( I believe it was pretty cheap from Save on Crafts, Wedding Supplies, Silk Flowers, Tulle, Scrapbooking & Discount Craft Supplies Save-on-crafts). I brought fake flowers bc for the natural ones they charge an arm and leg. Very expensive. Got to come up with something else.

I used some of them for the flower bases during ceremony, on fans, cake. The rest we removed from the steams and sprinkled on the floors and table by WC. Most of the girls used flowers from the flowerclip.com. I think one of them got creative and grabed one orchid from the table and put it in her hair...lol I have no idea how it stayed there though :) i can always ask.

For the chairs, i bought hot pink daisies from save-on-crafts.com and put them through the bows. They looked so natural. Hope this helps.

I got to say that you have such a stunning ring, it is absolutely breathtaking...who's it by?

well everything looked like it turned out just perfect..CONGRATS!!!

Thanks Edyta! The ring is made by NYC boutique delicategem.com

It's on a diamond district in NYC so the price is much better than what you would pay at Tiffany's or any other retail jeweler. They do an excellent job and you can customize the size, style, color, etc.

thanks...The jewelry was a combination of 4 or 5 necklaces. I got one from Swarowski crystals and the rest ones from Bijou Bijou jewelry store.

Loreta,

I'm so happy to see your photos here!, thanks for sharing with other brides.

I have to tell you that I admire the awesome job you did with all the decor, I know those where all your ideas and they worked fantastic!.

I have to tell other brides something that I loved!!! and haven't seen in other ceremonies....

When walking the aisle, your bridesmaids were first as usual...but then, they played a song....you were hidding... and there were minutes before you appear, that anticipation to see the bride coming was SOOO exciting, I was really feeling the emotion, and looking at Kashif face to see his reaction... and then your face of happiness when you started walking..., those minutes of anticipation made the moment of your appearance more dramatic... WOW, here comes the bride!!!!!!....

What song was it??.. Do you mind sharinghuh.gif?

I have SOOO many amazing photos of you, and of you and Kashif together..., if I would have included all in the slideshow it would be hundreds...; you had the perfect attitude, and I think I'm going to write a post about this... how to look amazing on your wedding photos!!!!..., so thanks a lot for having me there, AND for the inspiration!!!

I am glad you guys like that idea and please don't feel bad because I am sure I "borrowed" this idea from someone else on this forum...lol

The shells are called Pearled Nautilus Seashells. I will try to find a receipt or email at home from which online store I purchased. I think it's either Ebay or Nautilus Shell, Natural Nautilus, Pearled Nautilus - Large Decorative Shells

They also have a display stands which helped a lot:

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
