Good luck with the planning process. I can't beleive it so close :-)
I am starting to feel a little consumed by everything. I cant believe that we are down to just a few months...scary

I got my wedding band on Thursday! My e-ring is really a band (I didn't want a diamond that stuck up high, so FI got me a 5 diamond band as my e-ring), so it was hard to find a matching band, but we were able to find a band with 10 small diamonds that lined up exactly with the 5 bigger diamonds on my e-ring! FI is getting my name tattooed on his ring finger as his band because he doesn't wear any jewelry on his hands, so I'm just going to get him a cheap plain gold band for the ceremony & pictures.

I also ordered our invitations...I was planning on making them over spring break this week (I'm a teacher), but after reminding myself how long it took me to make my save the dates, I decided to order them.

Now I'm working on the OOT bags and choosing our cruise excursions so I can tell my TA (she's putting together our cruise brochures for us). I'm going to go to Michael's to see if I want to attempt making my own bouquets this week, and if I decide not to, I'll be placing my order for those.

Wow. How did I miss this thread?

We are getting married on 8.2.10 at Melia Cabo Real in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. I can't wait.

Every time I think about the date being 4 months away by eyes start to bug out of my head.

What's done you ask? Not much...

Invitations - 24/30 received back!

Room block deposit

Wedding Ceremony deposit

Dress - yes.

Colors chosen - royal blue and turquoise

What's left...um. EVERYTHING!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
