Don't stress out about it! I worried about that too, but then decided that it is something I can't control so there is no reason to worry about it. I have been oddly relaxed about my wedding plans lately. I think I have realized that no matter what happens, the end result of being married to the person I love is more important that what the weather was like, who was there or what we wore. I just figure that if the weather is bad we can get married under a pavillion or inside, and it will make for interesting stories later on :-) But I bet....for everyone on here...that we will have PERFECT weather on our wedding days. Sunshine and blue skies and a million stars to dance under at night (I know that sounds cheesy) :-)

Hi August 2010 brides!!!! Getting married in August 2008 was fabulous! Good luck with all your planning!
Hi Becks! I know you have been such a HUGE help to everyone on the forum. I am getting married August 7th in Cancun and am terrified about the weather all of a sudden!!!!! The dreaded rain and ________ and mainly the HEAT! I am from the south, so we are used to 80-90 weather in the summer. Can you tell me "how bad was the heat?" Thanks Becks!

My wedding is pretty small and simple so not much to do right now. Mailing out invites soon and working on AHR invites. Booked my AHR site and DJ. My mom and I are going to Key WEst in May to check out restaurants for the wedding reception, it's hard to pick one online. Plus I want to get Key West stuff for the OOT bags. Other than that, most of my stuff is done. Once May gets here I'll probably start freaking out and running around like crazy over the summer doing last min stuff. I can't believe how soon it will be here!!

Hello fellow August brides:

Don't worry too much about the weather. At this point, regardless, the show must go on as they say. Gotta have a little faith that things will work themselves out. I'm sure all of our wedding days will be magical.

I'm kind of at a stand still right now. I want to buy EVERYTHING already but can't really do much until all of my reply cards come in. March 15 (supposedly)

Happy Planning All!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
