Hi ladies!

Well, seeing as January is 6 months away (YIKES!) and today is EXACTLY 6 months from my wedding day, I thought it would be interesting to see where everyone is at for their wedding. What has been done, what is left to do, etc. I think it'll be very helpful and fun!! I'll start...

Things we have completed

  • engagement pictures
  • booked trip/wedding
  • invitations made and sent
  • dress almost done (being custom made)
  • FI's clothes purchased for the wedding
  • wedding bands purchased
  • earrings, shoes purchased

Things left to do

  • pack (ok, still have lots of time for that!)
  • book hair/mani/pedi appointments
  • make OOT bags or favours
  • lose 50 lbs! (I wish! lol)
  • decide on flowers/decorations/dinner/location for the wedding and dinner at the resort (will decide closer to the actual day with the WC)
  • choose music for wedding
  • get rings re-sized

Boy, there's still lots of things left to do! ACK!! lol On the other hand, we've gotten lots done already. I'm sure I'll be adding to the list as that's all I can think of at the moment, at work! shhhhh!! lol

Anyway, what have you guys done or have left to do? It'll make me feel better to hear what everyone else is up to! :)

Done:

-FI's suit purchased

-Hair extensions purchased

-Photographer booked (just need to sign the contract)

- Wedding Day confirmed

-Deposit Paid

Not Done:

-Anything else! Specifically, I don't even have my dress. I know which one I want, but I've been waiting for a day that I don't feel fat to buy it.

lol I hear ya about the dress! But you may want to do that soon, as sometimes it can take awhile to get it. I would anyway, but that's my opinion.

Isn't it crazy? only 6 months left! AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! I had a freak-out moment a couple of weeks ago because I felt like I had nothing done, but there's not much to do until a little closer to the wedding. I still feel a little like that, like I should be doing something!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
