There's a top 10 show. Damn! I don't get WE, but watch the on-demand free shows. I've only watched the 1st show this season....with the 'Clue' bride. What the friggin hell?! when she was screaming how his parents were stupid because they might not want to play Clue at their son's wedding.....ok, freakshow!

Don't even get me started on that other girl in the episode. She's just a bitch. She seriously take up 3 episodeshuh.gif That's way too much air time to feen her ego.

My husband always walks in the room when I watch this & thanks me. He sees this insane behavior & realizes how easy he had it. cheesy.gif

Oh and the bride that commented how her BMs are not used to being in weddings because they are fat and unattractive, but she likes it cause it makes her look better- WTF!!! That was so wrong- and guess what, I don't think they made her look better!
THAT broad made me SO angry! I was..seriously, I was in AWE with my jaw dropped to my chest wondering why those girls even STAYED! I mean, damn! She basically TELLS them that the only reason she asked them is because she considers them to be her ugliest friends! Then proceeds to treat them all like crap AND DOSE ONE OF THEM WITH OTC MEDICATION BEHIND HER BACK?!! And the logic behind THAT lil' piece of work was classic: because she was determined to "get rid of this girl's annoying cough by the wedding." So not only was she skating some seriously illegal lines, but she was dumb enough to believe that cough syrup CURES the common cold. Amazing.

Christie- Thanks so much for the listing! I'm going through my guide search right NOW! Too funny about what your FI said; Billy does the same thing. I was telling him we should watch more stuff together and he's like "I am NOT watching friggin' Bridezilla crap all the time." hahahaha

Jeni -- I think that is hysterical that you saw something calling our bridal blitz of shows "wedding porn"! Classic...well, I guess I am an addict, junkie, whatever and PROUD OF IT! wink.gif

And absolutely, my dear Savannah! I feel it is my duty to spread the word on the shows that have found a home in my heart, not to mention my DVR! Some girls have weddings mags all over the house; the TV shows are the way I go!

TONIGHT'S 6/21 BRIDEZILLAS episode: VALERIE goes ballistic and then gets blasted drunk! LOVED the irony of it all! She was so consumed with everything being perfect and looking platinum, and then she proceeds to get perfectly plastered at her reception and missed all but the first hour of it puking in the bathroom?! HAHAHAH! I mean, how psyched do you think all of the vendors she flipped out on were, calling each other or high-fiving during a viewing party when tonight's show aired and they all got to see her make a total spectacle of herself, falling all around wasted? Poetic justice!

And a question about WHY these chicks sign up to do this show in the first place: do they get free stuff or an awesome honeymoon or something out of it? I can't imagine embarassing myself, my FI, and our families and friends like that on national television in the first place, but does anyone know if they get some other kind of pay off out of it, aside from just their 15 heinous minutes of fame?

I always wondered this as well!

Gosh! Did anyone else watch Bridezillas last night! That has to be staged!!! I couldn't believe when Valerie smashed the flowers and cake. She tells her FI that he sits on his fat ass on the couch-that was really mean. I really thought it was too funny when she spent the reception next to the porcelain goddess, haha! Serves her right.

I have last night's dvr'd...gonna watch it tonight after the kids go down. Sounds like a freakin riot.

I do think they get something out of it. I can remember one of the grooms muttering something under his breath about it not being worth it. He was really pissed at the time, and I remember thinking "Oooooh." It really makes sense, because why else would people be willing to embarass themselves ON THE RECORD in front of every Tom, Dick and Harry with a cable connection? lol I always find myself watching saying "I would DIE." lol

ok this refers to a different bride on this season of Bridezillas, but did anyone else hear that the 21 year old bride from WI is in violation of her parole based on what was shown on tv. oh, Karma is a great thing. I'll have to see if the tv station has a link & I'll post it. cheesy.gif

I hate to admit it, but I love watching Bridezilla's - those girls are insane and I don't understand why their men put up with it... The guys often look worse than the crazy brides b/c they just take all of the abuse, especially when they treat the groom's own mother like crap.. How can you not even stand up for your own mother?? I don't understand how anyone would agree to go on the show - I looked on the show's website and apparently the bridezillas nominate themselves and I think get $2500 for the show.. Sometimes I wonder if the show is just staged b/c it's so ridiculous...

I also used to watch Platinum Weddings all the time before my wedding - my now-husband hated it!! But it always made me feel better about going over my original budget.. I've been to some expensive weddings, but I can't imagine spending that much $$ on one night...

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
