Thanks, It does seem to be getting better (Knock on wood). I have one more semester left in my degree as well so it will be a big year for me and my fiancé.

 

Has anyone had second thoughts about their dress. I love my dress but I keep watching shows like “Say Yes to the Dress” and then I start to question my pick lol.

I second thought my dress. So I started looking at another dress. I thought I fell in love with it. So I went and try it on.. I said I liked it better then the one I bought. So I tryed the one I bought and I kept it. I really did like it better then any other dress. I questioned myself after many nights of watching 'say yes to the dress' lol so don't worry.. I am sure you picked the perfect dress for you, try and not worry Do you have a pic to post? We'd love to see it.

She only got back from vacation a short while ago and has been so busy trying to get unpacked and back into the swing of things, nevermind all the busy time for the holidays! She's working on getting herself back into the BDW world after the new year when things calm down a bit. I do have to say though that her little guy Tez is the cutest monkey ever! He was such a trooper to be out with us and barely put up a fuss. Don't worry though, she's doing well and will get caught up soon enough. I'll let her know you were asking about her though!

I grew up in St-Catherines. I have family there,so we use to do family vacation there every summer. I just love the falls and the strip of different things you can do.
It does sound a lot better weather wise in Calgary. I suffer from arthritis (from the crohn's) and I can tell a difference with the humidity. I know it's not like there in Calgary. ok so plus 1 point for Calgary lol... Mike is really consider moving there next year.
I guess I'll miss the leaves.. It's what visit's are for!

Oh I am so happy you guys are able to get together. Made new friends from this site it's amazing!! That must have been fun doing xmas shopping together.
I am glad she had a good vacation with her family.
Aww her son sounds so adorable and well behaved. I only hope to have a child like that lol.

Honestly I haven't gone back to see my dress since I ordered it (and it's not online) so until i have my first fitting in a month or so, I'm mostly just going by memory. And because of that YES I have totally had second thoughts. The dress I bought was everything that I liked in all the other dresses combined, so I can't say that I don't like it. But at the same time it's a lot different from what I thought I'd be getting from the start which complicates the story a bit.

And you have to remember that with Say Yes to the Dress you're getting to see all the extreme cases - the ones that don't work out well, the difficult brides, the difficult families etc. I mean, sure, we can all relate to what they're going through, but to me a lot of it just seems excessive compared to the average shopping/buying experience. You obviously bought the dress because you liked it so I think unless you absolutely fall crazy in love with another dress, you've probably made the right choice already!

I got my dress in Sept. and have only seen it maybe twice. I watch "say yes to the dress" but I don't know, I love my dress (even though I didn't have the "This is the one" moment). Each dress fits a different personality and body type. I just think I'm lucky I found the right one. Second guessing will only make you hate your dress more, I'm sure you look stunning in it anyway!

she wanted a dress that was 6000$ and her mom wanted to spend only 3000$ and she through a hissy fit. In the store. An adult!!!

said ' I pay so much for my clothes how could I not for my own wedding dress' or
