Review - Photographer Michael Maurus/Cancun Wedding Photography

Recommended Posts

Wow, this is a horrible experience and its clear you did not have the right photographer. I always suggest to brides that they ask to see at LEAST 3 complete weddings that a photographer has shot. Yes, we like to post our best images but most pros can show you a complete wedding if you just ask.

I hope you got a few keeps. You looked amazing!

Good advice!
We actually did look at one or two complete weddings AND even had him email us more pictures..
But again, hopefully my/our experience will help future B2Bs...

I am sooo sad for you. What a disappointment. I am sure it always hasnt been the case but you seemed to be in "good spirits" when you wrote your review. Sarcasm anyone?

You made me laugh in spite of the sad situation. I wish you a lot of luck in putting together an album.

BTW - your dress looks absolutely gorgeous but I cant see it? Are there any links with bigger pics that I could see? Where did you get it? Beautiful!!!!

LOL! Yes, it did take me awhile to find the humour in it all, though I am generally a sarcastic person...which drives my mother CRAZY:-)

I did actually put together an album FINALLY! There's a link to it in my siggy below...
You can probably see some closer-up pics of my dress as well...
BTW, awwww! Thank you! That's so sweet of you to say about my dress:-)
It's an Amsale dress, the style is called "Tyler"...it's actually the same dress the girl wore in The Hangover movie at the end:-)
(of course, I'd bought it long before that movie came out:-))
I bought it a bridal salon in Vancouver where I live, but I know it's also sold anywhere they sell Amsale dresses in the States... and I've seen one or two for sale on used wedding dress sites...

Here's the link to my photobucket album that shows all the layouts in the album...You can really see the dress in those pics:-)

Any questions -- please ask:-)

well, that was a quick reply... thanks.

I have to say HOLY CRAP! You turned those "raised arm, midnight, where's waldo' shots into a beautiful album! I am so impressed! Good for you. Somehow you took a bad situation and you fixed it and made an album that is absolutely amazing... maybe you have found a new career path....

Congrats again (by the way, your other skating pictures are very cool - no pun intended)

Oh yah, thanks for the dress info. I KNEW that you had it before the movie... wink.gif

Thanks about the album:-)
Funny you say that b/c I'd really like to take a course or something and learn how to do that kind of thing for real:-)
Oh, and the dress in the movie had a black sash (mine was "stone")... I'm SO different smile117.gif

Oh, honey, I am so sorry to hear that...I hope the photographer reads this and knows that poor work reaches alot further than the one customer they may have screwed over.

    • OMG these are incredible! Seriously blown away by the thoughtful detail you have put into every aspect of your gifts, your guests are going to be amazed! Props to you for adding so many personal touches and putting in so much time to make these gifts amazing!
    • These bags are amazing!! You are so organized and detailed, I am so impressed! I LOVE the Vistaprint stuff you ordered, the logo is so cute, I love your personalization!
    • I love etsy!! It's a great place to find personalized gifts without such a hefty price tag. I was thinking of getting my bridesmaids personalized necklaces with their names on them. I found these ones that are affordable and you can pick the chain length and different fonts, so you can really make them your own and pick what you know each bridesmaid will want. https://www.etsy.com/listing/595334072/personalized-name-necklace-stainless?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=personalized necklace&ref=sc_gallery-3-9&plkey=a8662525c53ec285c1b46b0f308162d0591edff8:595334072
    • Hi everyone, I am so happy that I am getting married to the love of my life. He proposed me and we are getting married within in a couple of months. And I have started preparations for my big day. I am super excited about a lot of things and also worried about many things.I have some inhibitions about my face and skin. Since I am a working woman, I have never got much time for personal care. This is the right time for it now. I need  proper medical grade skin care. Want to improve my skin tone and texture  I read some details about it here, https://www.mcleanclinic.com/nonsurgical-procedures/non-surgical/skin-care/, and found it really helpful. Can anyone of you suggest me some more tips? Like what I can do at home to have a glow on my face?  Thanks in advance.
