Anyone used photographer Marcia Roberts before?

Jenn did you end up using Diana for your pictures?

Wendy,

I am glad Marcia posted these!  I hadn't seen her TTD shots yet.  Question:  Did you do your TTD the same day?  If not, did you have to pay for her to come onto the property 2 days?  I planned to do our TTD someplace else so I could avoid having to pay the outside vendor fee twice.

Your pics were beautiful!

eholt, she and Chris stayed at the resort so no vendor fee.  she assumed I was paying for the room but never told me.  it was a brief panic attack for me (our first day in Jamaica), but we talked and she agreed to pay since we didn't discuss it before hand.

She gave the that option and I figured it may be more expensive since it seems like I was told that there is a 3 night minimum. (not sure where I heard it or if its true)  In the end I just agreed to do my TTD elsewhere.

Thanks for the response.  Did you have your AHR?  If so, how did it go?

Thanks for asking, it was great, busy friday afternoon but everything done on time and ready for our guests.  We ended up getting a lot of pumpkins so the few kids that came, we let them carve pumpkins, with parental guidance.   After it was over, some neighbors came back over and we started a fire in our pit so the partying went on from 1-11, I changed out of the dress though when it was officially over.  As much as I love the dress, I was ready to get into some jeans and relax a little.

I think they just stayed one night, not sure how that worked (I seem to remember 3 day mininum); but they live/work in Kingston so you may want to check about the room (they will need to stay somewhere and not travel for 4h)...  I hate having unexpected things happen last minute.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
