Is it possible to post some pics from your wedding? I would love to see them if you don't mind. I emailed Marcia just waiting for a reply.....

Thanks so much for sharing this link to your photos...your pictures turned out fantastic!  We just booked Marcia for our April 7 wedding and I feel much more confident in our decision after seeing your pictures.

Ok now I am nervous, when I booked her she told me she did not want a deposit and wanted to be paid cash the day of the wedding. I wanted to give her a deposit but she did not want to take it.

So answer to your question. If I have to send  a deposit I would send a money order and pay the extra to have it delivered with a tracking number.

This is exactly what we JUST did!  We were asked to put down a 10% deposit and we sent it by money order so that we could track it and have a trail should anything happen along the way.  The rest we were told would be paid at the actual wedding.

Are any of you also doing a TTD with Marcia Roberts the next day?  If so, what kind of arrangements did you make with her to set this up?  Did you have to arrange for her to stay at your resort over night in order for her to be available for the next day's shoot?

LOL!  The person I spoke with yesterday said there would be one rate for her to stay at the hotel and another if they had to come back.  Given my resort, its cheaper for me to have them come the wedding day and then just go off site for the actual TTD.  Curious though because my deposit was 20%.  I just want to be assured that I'm doing the right thing by mailing this money.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
