Oh Erin- it's already been broughten.

I LOVE Bring It On. Seriously, back when I was in college and living in the dorms (with no cable TV!) we watched that movie on VHS all the time! LOL- I sound really old now. Who says VHS anymore? Or has no cable TV in dorms?

That guest dancer girl had mannequin (sp) hands. It really freaked me out. The whole time she was standing there iwth Cat, she didn't move her hands out of dance pose. Weird.

And the guy had too many clothes on, ha ha. Not that I wanted to see him naked or anything but the big overcoat seemed to hide his moves. Maybe he was hididng a beer belly? In general I wasn't a fan of their costumes. Her skirt looked like a balck plastic garbage bag.

When I compare it to other tangoes, (Chelsea and Josh) it was not so bueno.

Plus tangos are suppose to be passionate - i saw like ZERO chemistry between the two of them - he never looked at her

Yael, I will watch any dance/cheer movie, anytime! I love Center Stage, though I haven't seen the sequel - Center Stage 2 (catchy title). I am secretly a 14 year old girl.

After the movie is over I proceed to prance all over my house and realish in my bad-ass dancing ability.

I actually know the whole routine at the end of dirty dancing. My friends and I used to practice it.

I'm a dork. It's ok, I've accepted it.

I just now finally watched both episodes.

You girls summed up a lot of my thoughts. I really thought Askua should have gone and it bugged me that they seemed to keep her by default just because there were more contemporary dancers. Her solo wasn't that great and I do usually appreciate ballroom. I see how ballroom dancers have a tougher time with solos because they are so used to working in pairs, but if the whole show is built on the expectation that you need to push yoursef out of your element, I don't think that's an excuse.

I don't have any sad feelings about Tony going. I basically think he only made it on the show because they couldn't bring on Alex due to the contract thing.

I thought the guest dancers were boring and FF through their performance.

And not only do I know all the DD moves - I know every line! lol I saw the theatre performance in Toronto & LOVED it!!! I was like a 12 year old girl, sitting on the edge of my seat...I even teared up a few times because I was so excited!!! lol
Crap...sorry!! hijacked.gif lol

Back to topic...

And am I the only one that didn't think Tony & Paris's routine was THAT bad!? I know it was a great night - but I kind of liked them! More so than Vitollio & what's her face! LOL I think they should have went - but then again, I don't know much about dance (even though I watch so much of it!)

I am watching the results show now and those guest dancers sucked I thought. Ok, they were good, but were they enjoying to watch? Not really. They were doing steps. Isn't that what the judges are always complaining about for the dancers?

Paris - her solo was good. She's always been good, but something about her bothers me. I think it's her chin.

Tony - he's cute, but he's tall. Maybe when he has a few years to mature into his huge body, he'll be a little better. I enjoyed him sometimes and sometimes I thought he sucked big time. So I think he jsut needs to work harder.

Asuka - what the fuck is she doing? Seriously. That was the weirded solo I ever saw. It was like when Baby forgot the steps in Dirty Dancing and she started doing that weird dance. It didn't seem choreographed at all, or well.

Vitolio - he was good, not much to say, except he should take his shirt off more often. Holla!

Karla - again, what the hell? Was that choreographed or was she just doing moves? She moves well though and she's pretty, so those are 2 points that she'll always have.

Jonathan - his was good, some tricks, entertaining

Ok, I know it's been said before, but I HATE that we don't know some of these dancers! I wish they hadn't wasted so much time on the people who didn't make the top 20. I don't think it's fair to the top 20 that weren't followed early on compared to the ones that weren't. Cuz they have a built in following.

Oh and the Sean Kingston set - they should only allow guests to use past SYTYCD contestants!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
