Book Club has selected a book for those of you interested!!

 

I was just looking at the Kobo ereader on the chapters website. Has this one been mentioned here?? I might have to go to the store & have a look at it. Get a feeling for it in my hands! It's only $149, and then ebooks are only around $10 I think...I saw some for $4 & some for $13 when I had a quick look at the selection. Has anyone had anyone had any issues getting ebooks for this?? I would think any book published would be available in ebooks...

I just finished The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein. I really enjoyed it.  It's written from the family dog's point of view...very different.

 

I just started Nineteen minutes by Jodi Picoult today...pretty good so far.

 

By the way for people who love reading you have to check out goodreads.com  It has tons of book recommendations...is anyone on it?

I have read soooooo many Jodi Picoult's books.  Most of the ones she's written.  She's really really good!!

I read The Pact and My Sister's Keeper...and am now halfway through Ninteen Minutes...all really great.  The next one on my list by her is House Rules

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
