I say we shouldn't be biased on who can join vs who can't join because of their sex. I mean we don't have a different bracket for the weights.. it's all based on %. I was under the impression ANYONE was able to join in this challenge. The more people in this competition the more motivation to work our butts into shape. Plus it also helps with everyone sharing whats working for them and whats not working for them. The more the merrier.

We're doing this for ourselves.... the $ is just a bonus. If the $ is your only motivator in this competition you have more issues than your weight.

My DH is one of the men competing and as he is a big guy, yes he might lose weight faster, but that's because he has more to lose. To exclude men from participating would be, in my eyes, the same as excluding heavier girls as they also have more to lose and will lose it faster. Some of us have 5lbs to lose, some 50. It seems as though it's been the concensus to move on, but I just wanted to add my $0.02 fwiw :)

That is what i was thinking!

eeek...as someone who was around when the BL first started on here - the spirit of the entire thing was never ever about the $ but the motivation and support of doing something as a group - in fact the first season when Glenda won she donated EVERY CENT to charity (and she really could have used the $)

I know on my totally healthy days, I end up drinking TONS of water. Since I work out at lunch or at the end of the day( I know not as good as the AM but I am just not a morning person), I think a lot of it is the water.

I wish I could blame it on my water intake but I am really bad about getting all my water in. I need to make a chart or somthing

Just for some added motivation for you ladies, I do watch the biggest loser and the last two seasons a woman has won!

And this season, there is woman currently in the lead and she could definitely win!

Any of us could win this, we just have to push ourselves harder.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
