Tired of Hearing this! ARG!

Recommended Posts

We chose our day to be during the week in that we live in a resort town where no one has Saturday Sunday "weekends". Our days off are always Wednesday & Thursday hence the reason we choose Thursday to get married on. Who wants to be the same as everyone else and get married on a Saturday?! Stick with your date, it's YOUR day! =)

is it not far enough away that people would have to take at least a few days in order to be there? QUOTE]

No, our wedding location is in the US, but we have people coming from Colorado, Missouri, and Virgina. And I don't know how they feel about travel and whatnot. I am to the point where I just don't care.

Yep I agree with the other gals, stick to your day. If they can't deal with the fact that it's on a Wednesday, then tough. And Carly's right, not everyone is gonna be pleased, so screw it -- do your thing and be happy cheesy.gif Sometimes wedding guests can be such a pains in the ass!

I'm a teacher and I have students leaving for up to 10 days on vacation sometimes. Actually, during the second last week of June there is a camp that usually more than half of my class attends which means that they miss a whole week of school then too. Missing a few days of school won't be a huge deal for the teacher...not for me anyway...it happens ALL the time! We can handle it!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
